The SA Innovation Summit hosted the XVII Triple Helix International Conference as part of its mandate to facilitate the multi-helix conversation. On 9 – 11 September, academics, policy makers, practitioners, students gathered together in the Cape Town Stadium to engage and discuss in the Entrepreneurial University, Triple Helix concept, 4IR and how we can re-invent Africa’s Development. The theme was “A Catalyst for Change” – discovering how the triple helix model, scientific and technology will impact the socio-economic development of the African continent, and the rest of the world. Our hope was to development a manifesto on the Blueprint of the Entrepreneurial University based on research outcomes and contributions from authors who presented at THC2019. The manifesto will be presented at the Science Forum in December 2019
